Tobin McCauley is well known for her vibrant abstractions that combine geometric shapes, mark making and a playful use of a
modern palette. She hopes the viewer automatically smiles and feels a sense of happiness that is evoked by the flood of fresh color interacting on the canvas. Tobin McCauley fully admits she loves color and wants everyone else to adore it too - it’s time to get a Color Crush!

Jesse Tobin McCauley lives and works in Pittsfield, MA where she creates out of her studio at the Lichtenstein Center for the Arts. She studied design at Otis College of Art and Design in Los Angeles and is currently a designer at MASS MoCA. Tobin McCauleys’ work has been collected across the US and her large-scale murals can be seen throughout the Berkshires. She was the inaugural artist-in-residence at Miraval Resort 2021.

Her solo exhibitions include Electric Color at Gallery on North, MA and Happy at The Lichtenstein Center for the Arts, MA. Her group exhibitions include Crazy Tomato at the Berkshire Art Associations’ Re:Fresh Biennial 2022 MA, and In the Clouds at Carriage Barn Art Center, CT
